What's Happening In The Diocese
Light of Zion Chapter Chartered
Light of Zion Chapter, St. John's Episcopal Church [Beltsville], became the newest chapter charted within the Diocese. The chapter charter was presented by Carolyn Dent, the Diocesan Assembly President, to Father Joseph Constant, St. John’s rector. Date: May 19, 2019.
Darlene Jones, who was instrumental in starting the chapter, transitioned to the chapter from a Daughter-at-Large. Member crosses were presented to the newly admitted members by Carolyn assisted by Brenda Neal, Diocesan Assembly Treasurer and Marie Queen the Diocesan Assembly Chair.
